The Lazy Oak Cellar Door can be found 12 minutes out of Mudgee just off Henry Lawson Drive on the award winning and prestigious grounds previously known as the Miramar Vineyard. Enjoy a genuinewine tasting in their country cellar door or under the gum trees overlooking  picturesque vineyard and surrounding landscape. Call in and try our range, have a chat or perhaps stay a little longer and enjoy one of our renowned grazing boxes as you immerse yourselves in the beautiful surroundings and fresh country air in our gumtree laden, alfresco seating area, with heaters and fire pits in the cooler months. 

With a range of 12 wines available to taste in the Lazy Oak range and a further 3 available in the Miramar Wine range, there really is a style, varietal, and a wine to suit everyone.

The Lazy Oak Cellar Door is set on a gorgeous 50-acre vineyard with extensive views and a tranquil ambience that brings about a joyous and relaxed state for all of its visitors. Inside the cellar door, originally built in 1975, which has been recently refreshed with with further embellsihments in the near future, you will find a cosy and genuine wine tasting experience.

Wine Tasting Experiences at Lazy Oak

Wine tasting can be done as a stand-alone experience or for those with a little more time on their hands who are looking for a relaxed lunch as well, you can enjoy a tasting and then one our renowned grazing boxes under the gums in our alfresco seating area, with heaters and fire pits in the cooler months.

Private Tastings with Paula

Join the owner Paula for a relaxed private tasting where she will entertain you with her stories of their accidental fall into the wonderful world of wine and how far her and husband David have come in a short time. This tasting involves 8 Lazy Oak Wines of your choice and Paula will explain the history behind the vineyard, the winemaking process and the highs of the wine life.
